The State Department has furthermore produced a brief overview of the aims and objectives of U.S. foreign policy around the world and the work that U.S. diplomats do to achieve these goals. The overview, entitled Diplomacy: the U.S. State Department at Work, describes 4 broad foreign policy goals of the U.S. and provides links to more in-depth information at the State Department website.
